Even if classic, squalid Bohemia did manage to stage a return, how many denizens could it reasonably expect?  We’ve had it both ways for a while now, but if this post-apocalyptic ‘rejiggering’ forces us to align ourselves one way or the other, then wouldn’t everyone these days basically agree that squalor is too high a price to pay for (counter-)culture?
